Have you ever wondered about all those products being offered on TV infomercials. There are times that you wonder just how practical some of these products are and do they really do what they say. You must admit though some of these products are very unique and unusual . You also question the quality of some of the products they feature. They obviously sell a lot of these items when they are offered just imagine the phones ringing constantly with people purchasing these products during the infomercial. I have ordered some of these products and so far have been pleased with what I`ve ordered, such as the garment storage
space bags and closet organizer items. We have found them to be very useful in saving closet space and for storing your seasonal clothing in vacuum sealed moth proof storage bags. So I guess a lot of these unique items can be very useful.
It began some 30 years ago when Sam Butcher their creator began drawing the tear drop-eye children. Today his art work is among the most recognized art in the world, each piece sharing messages of love caring and sharing with collectors around the globe.
Sam Butcher a man of deep faith and conviction demonstrated artistic talent at a very young age he was encouraged by his mother to pursue formal art training, upon his high school graduation and his dedication he was awarded a scholarship to the college of arts and crafts in Berkley California.
In the early 1970s Sam and a friend started a small company to produce his precious moments art on a line of cards and posters they called their company Jonathon & David. They began marketing their products at trade shows and conventions of religious content their products became very popular with retailers wanting to market their new line shortly thereafter Sam was approached by a corporation to create a 3 dimensional figurine based on his art work titled (love one another). It was the beginning of a new phenomenon for both Sam and the gift industry.
At the end of 1978 the first 21 original precious moments figurines were introduced to the market the demand was overwhelming, the collection numbers over 1,500 pieces today with new pieces being introduced each year.

Some time ago our neighbor who had two small bichon frise dogs one male and one female, the female developed a incurable illness she was quit old .When she was diagnosed as being gravely ill by the vet he informed the owners that it was just a matter of time before she would pass on or have to be put down because she was under some stress and pain the vet informed them to take her home keep her comfortable for the time she probably had left to live.
My neighbor than called me to ask if I would make her a box as they intended to bury her in the back yard after she passes on. I informed her that I would be more than happy to do that for her. After giving it some thought and talking it over with my wife we decided in as much as it was our neighbor and good friend that we would make a very nice casket (coffin) for here. I pro ceded to make the box my wife the stuffed pillow and a friend of ours who does embroidery work made the head liner.
A few days latter when the casket was finished we took it over and presented it to them they were just overwhelmed and thought it was just beautiful she decided to take it over to her vets and show him what Mandy was going to be buried in, he said “o” my gosh I think these people are unto something I`m sure there could be a market for this type of thing.
My neighbor informed me of what the vet had said, with that we began to produce them, selling them on E-bay and putting fliers around local pet shops and veterinarian clinics and so the business began.
Not until recently did I become aware of how important eating right and daily exercise was to maintaining good health even though my doctor had been warning me for several years.I was recently diagnosed with plugged arteries and high blood sugar and was told that if I didn`t change my eating habits, loose weight and exercise on a regular basis that I would probably have to start taking medication for high blood sugar as well as face possible heart surgery and this was after having 3 stints put in over the past 14 months, needless to say my doctors, my wife and daughter finally got my attention.
So I decided it was up to me to make those life style changes, nobody else was going to do it for me so with that in mind I began to walk every day at our local mall along with a lot of other people who apparently got the same message I did or learned early on how important diet and exercise was to maintain a healthy life style.
After 4 weeks of walking every day 8,000-11,000 steps per day and watching what I eat not only do I feel a whole lot better I have lost weight and my energy level has sky rocketed.
So I must admit those people in my life who were more concerned then I was about my health were absolutely right.
So its not to late to change your eating habits and exercising attitude and to regain that feel good feeling, for me it has become a habit I enjoy and look forward to every day. As one gentleman I ran into during my daily walks informed me that this country does not have a health care problem this country has a health problem, I could not agree more.
So get out there and walk, get yourself a pedometer to record your daily steps; walk your dog do something ; change your old habits and you to can feel much better and feel good about yourself, make it part of your daily life and your dog will enjoy it to.
There are very few people living today that if not now had a pet they loved
dearly and became very attached to at some time in their life. when that pet
became very ill because of a incurable disease or just became so old it no
longer could live a comfortable life, even though its a very sad time a decision
must be made to have them put down or let them die naturally. When this event
takes place the question always comes up as to what to do with the remains, do
we have it cremated, bury it in a pet casket in the back yard or have the vet dispose
of it by some means. What ever you decide its a question that must be
addressed. Most people tend to put these decisions off until the day something
happens. If you had addressed these question some time earlier you would be much
more comfortable and relieved knowing that when that sad day does arrive that
those arrangements have been addressed and finalized.
